Seesaw

We have made the decision as a school to revert back to Seesaw for online profiling. This is following a long process whereby PKC have worked with Seesaw to establish and agree a contract with is data protection compliant. PKC are in the final stages of the procurement process to establish an authority-wide Seesaw licence for schools. Once the contract has been completed and, we will begin planning implementation with Seesaw. We are hopeful that this will all be finalised in the next couple of weeks.

We will therefore continue with SWAY for homework this term, and Learning Trees will be included in this SWAY so that you can see what your child is learning and what you can do at home to help. We aim to have Seesaw fully functional for families towards the end of Term 1. We will keep parents / carers updated, with further information to follow.

In the meantime, we would suggest that you download your child's existing online profile from Learning Journals. The deadline to do this is FRIDAY 11 SEPTEMBER. To download as a PDF:

• Open Learning Journals App
• Select child’s face along the bottom row
• Select the ‘More’ option
• Go to ‘Download’
• Then ‘Request Profile PDF’ for all the Learning Events (Observation, Stories & Parent Contributions)
• Then ‘Download Media’ for all the images and videos
• These will then be found in the ‘Downloads’ section which is accessed via the three lines icon in the bottom right of the screen
